Borage Updates 2019
June 2019
Crops are in full flower, with the warm weather and showers across the UK, growers should keep an eye out for late entry of diseases. Examples are Sclerotinia and Powdery mildew which can be treated with fungicides. Growers should keep an eye on crops for the start of seed shedding. The crop should be swathed when seed falls on the ground from the 2-3rd most forward flower set. The time this takes from flowering varies with crop conditions, so vigilance is needed.
